So what do we need to do before a session?
After you have contacted me in the first instance I may go through a simple questionnaire with you. This will help me to understand how to work with you as effectively as possible.
What happens during a session?
It is very simple and you don’t have to do much talking at all, leave that to me. The instinct part of your brain will do all the work automatically as it does every day of our lives.
All you need to do is be aware of the particular problem and then how you would prefer to be instead, I will then talk you through a simple procedure, which your extremely clever brain will do very effectively, to reach the desired effect.
How many sessions will I need?
This is dependant entirely on the particular issue. Many issues can be sorted out in 1 or 2 sessions, some may take longer.
How can this work over the internet as well as face to face?
This is the beauty of BWRT, it is as effective online as it is face to face. I can even do it over the phone. During the current Coronavirus situation this is the perfect opportunity to get help without needing to actually be in the same room as your therapist. We can always practice with the ‘tech’ side of things beforehand but I have successfully completed lots of sessions using Messenger, Facetime and Zoom.
Is this scientifically proven and evidence based?
It certainly is! The founder of this brilliant therapy is Terence Watts. I cannot tell you what an amazing, inspiring and knowledgeable mentor he is. Many health professionals are now using BWRT as their go-to therapy. More information can be found here on what the experts say.
Is this similar to Hypnotherapy, CBT, EFT, EMDR or other therapies?
Definitely not! This is a standalone therapy that does not incorporate anything else, and I promise you will never have experienced anything like it anywhere else.
